Back from Ireland

We had a fantastic time in Ireland. I spent a month there with the kids. My bestfriend Sue was there for the first two weeks and then Scott joined us for the last two weeks.

We spent most of our time in Rosslare Harbour in County Wexford and one week in County Mayo. Ireland has had horrible weather this summer and we lucked out by getting the best of it. We spent many glorious days at the beach.

I did not use the Internet for the month which was quite liberating. I read a bunch books and at the top of the list is A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. Fabulous, dark English humor. Absolutely superb.

And now for a few pics.

In Bellmullet, County Mayo. This is what we call Rock Beach. We go every year. It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.

Can you believe this is Ireland?
