Thanks for the comments, Shawn and Jeremi. I didn't realize I could comment back on my blog until today. LOL
Camera is still at Canon and no word yet. Hopefully tomorrow I will know something. As you can see at the party I had focus with my flash. My outdoor shots were hit and miss. Sometimes the focus landed somewhere so I could still make the image work, but most of the time it was doing it's funky focus thing. Better for it to happen now than when I am away, ya know? Gotta look on the bright side or else I will be too depressed.
Since these are just snaps, no biggie. I'm glad that I was able to capture my Aunt's surprise and the cake (photos to come tomorrow, I hope) well and the rest is gravy. It was such a fun party.
